Yard Sale

Are any of you guys participating in the Oct 2nd yard sale? If so, I have a few items I would like to try and sell but not enough to have a sale at my house. No Soliciting Sign

I've had a number of people tell me recently that they would like to get a "No Soliciting" sign for their front door. I have one that I made on my front door like this:


It's 1 1/2 inches tall and 8 inches long and very effective in getting no salespeople knocking on my door. If you would like one, I would be willing to cut one out of vinyl for you for $1. Just let me know what color you would like it to be. I have black, chocolate brown, dark gray, light gray, beige and white.

Baptism Dresses

Hi Ladies,

I know sometimes it's hard to find baptism dresses around here that don't have crosses on it or other things. Well I just saw that Sears is having a sale and some communion/baptism dresses (very non-Catholic looking) and are $20 or less. The regular prices range from $110-$75 so I thought I would pass this along. I obviously have no need for this, but thought others might. Also, there are only a few that have sleeves, but there are some cover ups on sale for $5.99

Go to the Sears site (www.sears.com) and type in Muneca Baptism, it will come up with what they have available. Also, when you add the item into the cart it will take an addition percentage off (I don't know what it is). This offer is good until Monday, 9/13.

Running!

I spoke to several of you on Thursday about the run I am training for. Here are the details:

Pecan Classic: 8.5 miles, 8:00am Saturday Nov. 20, $30 before 11/5

Harvest Run: 3.7 miles, 8:00 am Saturday Nov. 20, $25 before 11/5

Nut Run: 1.5 miles, 10:00 am Saturday Nov. 20, $15

A portion of the proceeds benefit the Friends of Madera Canyon.

Wonderful Wednesday Craft Night

I just wanted to remind everyone about mine and Morgan's craft night at the end of the month (Wednesday, Sept. 29th from 7pm). Orders and money need to be in by the 17th so we can get ready for it.

I also wanted to let you know that if you want to bring any unfinished crafts from the ward craft night last Thursday to work on, please do. I'll probably be working on them myself. If you want to just do your unfinished crafts and you don't want order anything from us, that's fine, but please let us know before the 29th so we can make sure to have table space for you to work on. We hope to see you on the 29th!
